Hello. Thank you for visiting this article! I’m a student of Municipal Omiya International Secondary School [MOIS]. This time, I want to tell you about what MYP is and what we learn.

1: What is MYP?
Do you know what MYP is? MYP means Middle Years Program of International Baccalaureate [IB]. There are 53 MYP schools in Japan, and MOIS is one of the schools.
In MYP school, we learn these 8 subjects below.
・Language and Literature [言語と文学]
・Language Acquisition [言語の習得]
・Individual and Societies [個人と社会]
・Science [科学]
・Mathematics [数学]
・Art [芸術]
・Physical Education [保健体育]
・Design [デザイン]
Moreover, we learn 2 more subjects in MOIS. They are English Inquiry and 3G project. All of subjects are very interesting, but submitting all of the tasks is sometimes hard.
2: What kind of tasks do we have?
In MOIS, we have some kinds of tasks and we must submit them until each deadline. We usually have test, report, presentation, and making something such as poster and paper model as our tasks. Most of us are very good at inquiring about difficult matters, but some of us can’t submit their work until the deadline. Our result will be decided depends on the score of the tasks, so each tasks are very important for us.
3: What can we do to get good scores?
As we said, each tasks are very important for us, but some of us can’t submit them. Why? We think it’s because there’re still some students who can’t manage themselves well. That means it’s very important to be able to manage ourselves. Don’t you think it’s important…?
